TAR UC and Zhejiang Financial College (‘ZFC’) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) for the second time, renewing the academic partnership between both institutions in a virtual signing ceremony on 29 March 2022. The renewal of the MoU will enable both institutions to continue facilitating academic research and development exchanges and more, for the mutual benefits of students and staff.

“TAR UC is honoured to be able to continue this academic collaboration with ZFC. I hope that this partnership will foster better work relations between both our institutions and countries, improving exchanges between Malaysia and China,” said Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC in his speech.

President of ZFC, Dr Zheng Yali also expressed positive views toward the renewal of the collaboration. “Both TAR UC and ZFC have a lot in common, one being that both institutions are renowned in producing high calibre graduates in the financial field. Through this collaboration we are able to enhance our internationalisation efforts and strengthen our relations,” she said.

The first MoU was signed on 15 March 2019 between both institutions. Following the formalisation of the MoU, both TAR UC and ZFC had participated in various exchanges including the inaugural TAR UC International Student Conference 2019 organised by the Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business (‘FAFB’).
