On 20 April 2021, TAR UC signed a Memorandum of Agreement (‘MoA’) with Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, Indonesia that will pave the way for a global learning experience that is “Beyond Education” to the future generations.

The agreement will have both higher education institutions work together to offer Universitas Ciputra’s Bachelor of International Business Management students the opportunity to study TAR UC’s Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business at TAR UC’s Kuala Lumpur Main Campus under a Dual Bachelor Degree award.

Students who successfully complete and fulfill all relevant requirements for both programmes shall be conferred TAR UC’s Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business and Universitas Ciputra’s Bachelor of International Business Management degrees respectively.

During the virtual signing ceremony, Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC and Ir Yohannes Somawiharja, Rector of Universitas Ciputra signed the documents to seal the collaborative partnership, witnessed by senior officials from both institutions who attended the ceremony.

“Today’s MoA is the first of its kind for TAR UC and we are proud to establish this strategic partnership with Universitas Ciputra, which I believe will be a first step to a beneficial relationship between our institutions,” said Prof Ir Dr Lee in his speech.

Speaking on behalf of Universitas Ciputra, Ir Yohaness said: “We cannot wait to work alongside TAR UC in all educational aspects such as broadening knowledge, developing research, and enriching both our academic programmes while fostering a strong partnership in the process.”
