TAR UC has joined forces with wiper manufacturer Nippon Wiper Blade (M) Sdn Bhd after both parties signed two Memorandums of Agreement (‘MoA’) on 14 November 2019.
Acting through its Faculty of Engineering and Technology (‘FOET’), TAR UC will collaborate with Nippon Wiper Blade (M) in two joint research projects titled “Design and Development of a Forklift Anticollision System” and “Design and Development of an Intelligent Packaging Verification System” for a period of 12 months.
Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC, signed the MoAs together with Mr Hiroshi Esaki, Managing Director of Nippon Wiper Blade (M) Sdn Bhd, during the signing ceremony held at Nippon Wiper Blade (M)’s factory in Senawang Industrial Park, Seremban.
Ts Dr Chew Khoon Hee, Dean of FOET and Assoc Prof Ts Dr Lai Weng Kin, Deputy Dean (Research) of FOET, were also present to witness the signing ceremony.
Nippon Wiper Blade (M) Sdn Bhd has been operating in Malaysia for the past 20 years, supplying wiper systems to a majority of the local and international car brands in Malaysia.
