TAR UC had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e-Construct Services Sdn Bhd (CIDB e-C), a subsidiary of Construction industry Development Board (CIDB), on 22 January 2020 mainly to explore common objectives and benefits in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM).

The MoU will also pave the way for both parties to share academic knowledge and best industry practices as well as provide necessary exposure on BIM to students and educators.

TAR UC and CIDB e-C will also work on, amongst others, developing appropriate output or publications which can be co-branded or with an agreed form of support by one party for the work of the other. Both parties will also identify specific projects in which they can collaborate, including research and development activities.

The MoU was signed by Mr Rofizlan Ahmad, CEO of CIDB e-C and Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC, and witnessed by Tuan Haji Razuki Ibrahim, General Manager, CIDB and Assoc Prof Dr Ng Swee Chin, Vice President  of TAR UC.
