On 14 October 2021, TAR UC and University of Danang (‘UD’) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) which will pave the way for future academic collaborations, research opportunities, mutual exchanges and more between both institutions.

“We are honoured to formalise our partnership with TAR UC as both our institutions share many similarities such as our values, geographical region and deep economic ties,” said Assoc Prof Dr Le Quang Son, Vice President (Research and International Cooperation) of UD in his greeting address. “I hope that both institutions will be able to benefit and exchange experience as much as possible from our partnership.”  

Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC also took the opportunity to thank UD for their confidence in TAR UC.

“Moving in tandem with the importance of globalisation in higher education, this MoU is proof of our common objective to promote and provide our students with education opportunities in both countries, as well as our internationalisation goals to foster good working relations with overseas universities in the ASEAN region.”

The MoU was signed between Prof Ir Dr Lee and Assoc Prof Dr Le, and witnessed by senior officials from both TAR UC and UD.

Following the MoU signing, TAR UC, UD and University of Economics (a member university of UD) proceeded with a discussion towards a possible Dual Award collaboration.
