In a virtual ceremony on 5 August 2021, TAR UC and Patrician College of Arts and Science (‘PCAS’), India inked a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) which formalised the partnership between the two institutions.

A partnership built on shared values and mutual benefits, this MoU paves the way for opportunities to facilitate joint academic research and development activities that would benefit both institutions as well as staff, students, and alumni with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and further their studies.

In his welcome remarks, President of TAR UC, Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei expressed his delight in the timely partnership which is perfectly in line with TAR UC’s internationalisation efforts.

“India is a region well-known for rapid economic growth and advancements. Not only will we be able to share knowledge with this partnership, but it also opens opportunities for international mobility for students and staff from both institutions in the future. I look forward to our future endeavours and to the day we can have mutual visits in person,” he said.

Dr Fatima Vasanth, Academic Director of PCAS also commended the partnership. “We are happy to take this partnership with TAR UC to new heights as both institutions have similar goals – to empower our students with life and career skills for them to excel in their careers after graduation and open more doors for employment opportunities.”

The virtual MoU signing ceremony was witnessed by Rev Bro. Dr. S. Arockiaraj, Director and Secretary of PCAS, as well as senior officials and faculty staff from TAR UC and PCAS.
