Abstract
Similar to smart city, smart campus leverages advanced technologies and data-driven solutions to enable interactions between users, improve administrative process efficiency, optimise resources management, improve campus lifestyle quality and security, and enhance learning. To implement smart campus, 7 categories of projects are developed to provide efficient campus services. Since 2017, the number of projects has grown from 35 to 91 in 2 years, developed by computing and information technology undergraduate students. Ten projects have been selected for alpha testing and beta testing in stages. Due to the nature of projects are varied, a software testing strategy has to be designed and set in order to standardize the testing tools for the experiment. Levels of test have been applied during the development of the applications to detect possible defects in the applications. When it comes to user acceptance test level, tests implemented are not only aims for the functionality of applications but also the other perception of users on the applications.
Keywords: smart campus, smart campus applications, software testing, software testing design, user acceptance test
