Provisional Accreditation
A programme will receive the Provisional Accreditation status which is issued by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) if it meets the minimum requirements/standards set by MQA. All programmes offered by Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) have received the Provisional Accreditation from MQA.

Approval to Conduct Programme by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)
All programmes offered by TAR UMT must be approved by MOHE before TAR UMT can commence the enrolment of students for the programme.

Full Accreditation by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
All TAR UMT programmes will undergo the Full Accreditation inspection by regulatory bodies when the 1st cohort of students enters the final semester of study and when a programme is due for a re-accreditation exercise. A programme that receives a Full Accreditation status refers to having met all the requirements/standards set by MQA and will be listed in the Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR).
