SUBMISSION DETAILS

All submission should be in the English Language and submitted in MS Word or compatible formats. Click the link below to download the full paper submission template:


FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

  • A4-sized paper
  • Font size 10 Times New Roman (body text)
  • Single spacing
  • Maximum 4 pages
  • Referencing, graphics & tables will be considered in the total page count
  • Do not include page numbers, header & footer
  • File size not exceeding 2 MB


POSTER

Poster Proposal
  • A4-sized paper
  • Margins must be 1 inch on all sides
  • Font size 10 Times New Roman (body text)
  • Single spacing
  • Proposals should not exceed 2 pages


Actual Poster Presentation

  • One A1-sized poster per presentation


WORKSHOP

  • Aimed at developing knowledge, skills or new perspectives for participants
  • Proposals should not exceed 1500 words (about 3 pages)
  • A4-sized paper
  • Margins must be 1 inch on all sides
  • Font size 10 Times New Roman (body text)
  • Single spacing


Please include the following information for workshops:

  • Facilities required
  • Maximum number of participants
  • Intended audience and degree of expertise or background knowledge required by participants
  • Statement of workshop objectives
  • Detailed description of workshop contents, including activities for participants
  • A list of previous presentations on the same topic or publication references or (optionally) nominate one or two referees whom the conference committee may contact
  • A summary of the workshop presenter’s qualifications

"SubTheme Number - Presenter Surname - Presenter First Name.doc"
e.g., "A-Chan-SM.doc", "B-Richardson-Peter.doc", "C-Lim-TH.docx"

Authors may choose their presentation type (i.e., oral/poster). The organizing committee reserves the right to make the final decision.

 

SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS

The full papers (limited to 4 pages) should be submitted before 15 April 2016 at:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tic2016.

All selected full papers for presentation during the conference will be included in the Book of Abstracts to be made available during the conference.

SUBMISSION OF EXTENDED FULL PAPERS FOR CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

Tentative arrangements are made to have selected extended full papers from TIC 2016 conference to be published in a special post-conference proceedings to be published by Springer. A participant needs to submit the Extended Full Paper meeting the necessary requirements by the deadline for consideration and reviewing process.

The Extended Full papers (limited to maximum 8 pages) should be submitted before 15 June 2016 to: tic2016@tarc.edu.my

PRESENTATION FORMATS

Type of Presentation Time Allocation Brief Specification
Paper 25 minutes Presenters are expected to spend 20 minutes on their presentations and allocate the last 5 minutes for discussions with participants.
Poster On-going during the
entire conference		 All poster presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the breaks.
Workshop 1 hour  

The selection of the final papers for presentation during the conference will be notified to the participants before 15 May 2016.
