A vibrant display of creativity at the Interior Architecture Graduate Showcase held at The Linc, themed ‘Rhapsody.’
‘Rhapsody’, the TAR UMT Interior Architecture Graduate Showcase 2025, marked a key milestone for the School of Architecture at TAR UMT. Held from 28 February to 2 March 2025 at The Linc, Kuala Lumpur, the event was the programme’s 1st public graduate showcase, proudly initiated by the 4th cohort of the Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Hons) programme.
The remarkable moment was officiated by Ar IDr Chris Yap S C, the programme’s inaugural External Examiner, as our industry guest of honour.
True to its theme, ‘Rhapsody’ presented a dynamic collection of final-year works from Interior Design Studio V, mentored by Ts Idaura Fadhya who is also the programme leader, Ar Dr Mohd Riza and Ar Esmonde Yap. Each project reflected critical thinking, user-centred design, and strong narrative development. This showcase represented a defining point not only in the students’ academic journey but also in the continued evolution of the programme.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new tradition for the School of Architecture, reflecting growing confidence, maturity, and professionalism. The success of ‘Rhapsody’ is a testament to the students' dedication, academic guidance, faculty leadership, and industry engagements.
As the programme continues to grow, ‘Rhapsody’ stands as a proud symbol of what interior architecture education at TAR UMT represents: purposeful design, professional readiness, and a passion for shaping the spaces of tomorrow.
