MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

  

Deputy Director (Centre for Business Incubation and Entrepreneurial Ventures)
The successful candidate will be assisting the Director and responsible for spearheading the overall entrepreneurial development and nurturing, global engagement and business / project development, academia-industry collaboration, IP commercialisation, relevant industry linkages and collaborations / MOA, consultancy and commercialisation initiatives in the Centre. The candidate is expected to work with external parties such as government agencies, industries and overseas universities on areas of collaboration and related matters. The candidate is also responsible for the project orchestration and moderation including coordinating student and research resources and facilitate project resources.

In addition, the candidate is responsible for the overall day to day operation and management of the Centre, project management including budgeting, documentation / reporting, resources sourcing and facilitating pilot / deployment test and providing technical and science advisory services.

The candidate:

  • • Should possess at least a recognised Master's degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Technology / Science or in the relevant field.
  • • Must have a minimum of 10 years' working experience in consultancy and commercialisation or in the relevant field. Working experience in educational institution is an advantage.
  • • Must possess strong business acumen and project management skills.
  • • Must demonstrate excellent entrepreneurship and leadership skills in managing a Centre with diversified functions.
  • • Must possess strong problem solving ability, highly motivated and able to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.

 

Manager (Student Financial Aid, Department of Student Affairs, KL Main Campus)
The successful candidate will be responsible to plan, manage, implement the financial aid process to ensure effective financial aid delivery services to students and sponsors/donors. The candidate is expected to develop and recommend improvement to financial aid procedures/guidelines as well as ensure process compliance.

In addition, the candidate must be able to lead the team and mobilise adequate and suitable resources to implement projects, maintain good working relationship with external agencies/organisations and internal department for the establishment of new funds and continuation of the existing funds. The candidate is expected to produce periodic management reporting.

  • Candidate should possess at least a recognised Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Candidate with minimum 5 years of experience in managing financial aid programmes or relevant experience.
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills and is result oriented to meet deadlines and objectives.

 

IT Personnel
i) Teaching & Learning Support Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of the e-learning system, provide support and conduct workshops / training to students and staff on the use of the e-learning system, develop web services and applications for e-learning.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25. Fresh graduates may apply.

ii) Software Developer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of system applications.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates may apply.

iii) Videographer
The successful candidate will be responsible in the planning and organising video shoot
of event, designing and development of graphic and video content in support of
corporate branding, product marketing and training. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in
    Multimedia, Mass Communication or equivalent. Fresh graduates may apply.
  • Must be creative in designing and implementing of multimedia applications.
  • Must have knowledge in the use of editing equipment and multimedia authoring tools
    such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Premiere Pro, Vegas Pro and Edius.
  • • Must have knowledge in handling video camcorder and videography techniques.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills;
    keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part
    of a team.

 

Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations and administrative works of all the laboratories / workshops / centre.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science or related field.

 

Activities & Sports Coordinator

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25
    in Sport Science.

 

Facilities Management Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out new building projects, detailed inspections of buildings and campus compound, execute all operation & maintenance activities of the campus as well as supervise all works being carried out by contractors and suppliers.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other related field with minimum 2 years' working experience.

 

Student Counsellor (Based at Penang Branch)
The successful candidate will provide services and programmes to assist students in achieving mental and emotional well-being through individual counselling, career guidance, personal growth group and self-enrichment workshops or programmes, etc.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Counselling Psychology.
  • Candidate must be a registered counsellor with practicing certificate issued by the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM).

 

Senior Executive / Executive
(Based at Kuala Lumpur, Penang Branch)

The successful candidate will be responsible for all office administration, managing and supervision of staff as well as preparation of documents, minutes of meetings and reports. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 or equivalent qualification.
  • • With working experience in an educational institution is preferred.

 

Administrative Assistant (Based at Kuala Lumpur and Johor Branch)
The successful candidate is expected to perform a wide variety of administrative support services which includes maintenance of a comprehensive administrative filing system and any other tasks as may be assigned.

  • •Candidate should possess a recognised Diploma / Advanced Diploma qualification. Candidate should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications.
