MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

Manager (Quality Assurance)
The successful candidate will be required to assist in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of quality assurance policies and systems pertaining to academic standards, learning opportunities, management of quality and standard as well as ensuring that internal control and operative systems are in place for effective corporate governance. The candidate is expected to liaise with government agencies and accreditation bodies, both local and overseas and be familiar with the auditing processes of these bodies. The candidate is also expected to ensure proper management of ISO 9001:2008/2015. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 and/or professional qualifications with minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.
  • • Must have relevant experience in Academic Assurance work and workings of ISO 9001:2008/2015.

Manager (Library)
The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the operations of Libraries at Kuala Lumpur Main Campus and Branch Campuses in the area of collection development and management, circulation of library materials and automation. The candidate is expected to plan and manage projects and review, implement and maintain policies and procedures in the Library. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualifications.
  • • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.

Senior Internal Audit Executive
The successful candidate will be required to assist in the preparation of audit programmes, checklists and audit procedures, conduct audit fieldwork according to audit plan, maintain proper and complete audit work papers. The candidate is also expected to prepare draft audit report to the Head of Division with audit findings and appropriate recommendations. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with minimum CGPA of 3.25 or professional accounting qualifications.
  • • With minimum five (5) years’ working experience in Audit field. Preferably with experience in Internal Audit.
  • • Should have sound knowledge of operational control principles and practices.
  • • Should be able to work independently, proactive and result oriented to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • • Should be a good team player and able to lead a small team of auditors.

IT Personnel
i) Technical Support Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of installing, managing and maintaining of LCD projectors and computer system in teaching venues; maintaining documentation on the equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for the sourcing, planning, implementing, administrating and maintaining of the surveillance CCTV and door access system.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 1-2 years’ working experience.

ii)  Application Analyst
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of system applications.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates may apply.

iii) System Administrator
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and maintenance of AIX based operating systems and TIAS servers. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 3 years’ working experience in related field.
  • • Who possess AIX certificate is preferred.

iv) Database Administrator
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and maintenance of Informix and TIAS database.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 3 years’ extensive hands-on experiences with Informix database and in related field.

v) Software Developer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of system applications.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates may apply.

vi) Systems Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and maintaining of servers and its applications, systems and security, review and maintain ICT documentation on the server, applications and hardware configurations.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 1-2 years’ working experience in the related field.
  • • Able to administer different server platforms on MS Windows, Linux and Solaris.

vii) Network Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, managing and maintaining the Institution network infrastructure and network security, review and maintain IT documentation of the network infrastructure.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 1-2 years’ working experience in network management.
  • • Knowledgeable in administration of network equipment, such as switches, routers, wireless access points etc.

viii) Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and administration of the computer laboratories including planning, maintaining and troubleshooting of computers.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.

ix) Videographer
The successful candidate will be responsible in the planning and organising video shoot of events, designing and development of graphic and video content in support of corporate branding, product marketing and training. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Multimedia, Mass Communication or equivalent. Fresh graduates may apply.
  • • Must be creative in designing and implementing of multimedia applications.
  • • Must have knowledge in the use of editing equipment and multimedia authoring tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Premiere Pro, Vegas Pro and Edius.
  • • Must have knowledge in handling video camcorder and videography techniques.

In addition to the above specific requirements, candidates are expected to be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part of a team.

Marketing Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing related activities such as education fairs, school visits, open day and other events deemed necessary.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Marketing / Mass Communication or qualifications in the relevant field.

Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and administration of the laboratories in:

(i) Faculty of Engineering
    Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in civil engineering, material engineering, mechatronics or qualification in the relevant field.

(ii) Faculty of Built Environment
    Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in construction management, estate management, or qualification in the relevant field.

Assistant Librarian
The successful candidate will be responsible to plan and manage library resources including media materials to facilitate efficient retrieval. The candidate will also be responsible to obtain the quotations, filtering and checking on quotation replies.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualifications.

Assistant Bursar
Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Accounting or professional accounting qualifications. Candidate with at least 2 years’ working experience in accounting and financial management is preferred.

Estate Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out detailed inspections of buildings and campus compound, execute all maintenance and construction activities in the Institution as well as supervise works being carried out by outside agencies.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Civil/Structural Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years’ working experience.

Activities & Sports Coordinator
Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Sport Science.

Senior Assistant Registrar / Assistant Registrar
The successful candidate will be responsible for all office administration, managing and supervision of staff as well as preparation of documents, minutes of meetings and reports. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 or equivalent qualification.
  • • With working experience in an educational institution is preferred.

Student Affairs Officer
(Based at Penang Campus)
The candidate will largely but not solely involved in student financial loans, support services, coordinate campus activities and monitoring student facilities.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in relevant field.

Computer Technical Assistant
The candidate will be responsible in providing technical support on ICT hardware and software, configuring, implementing, testing, troubleshooting of ICT equipment, maintaining documentation on the ICT equipment and procedures. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Diploma qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with working experience in technical support of ICT equipment and software.
  • • Should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications and networking system.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team, and keep up with technology changes.

Administrative Assistant
(Based at Kuala Lumpur and Penang Campuses)
The successful candidate is expected to perform a wide variety of administrative support services which includes maintenance of a comprehensive administrative filing system and any other tasks as may be assigned.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Diploma / Advanced Diploma qualification. Candidate should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications.
