Recognising its excellence in digital education, TAR UMT’s recognition as a Premier Digital Tech Institution (PDTI) by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has been renewed for the third time running. TAR UMT (then TAR UC) was first accorded the PDTI status in 2017, being one of the eight institutions of higher learning in the country to receive the recognition back then. The institution’s PDTI status was then renewed in 2019, and now renewed again for the second time.
TAR UMT’s consistency in retaining its PDTI status marks a significant milestone in the University's journey toward becoming a global leader in digital education and technology-driven innovation. The PDTI status is a testament to TAR UMT's unwavering dedication to fostering digital talent, promoting innovation, and driving Malaysia's digital transformation in line with TAR UMT’s 10-year roadmap.
