TAR UC Collaborates with Nepalese University

On 9 February 2022, TAR UC and Mid-West University in Nepal inked a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) to develop academic and educational cooperation and to promote mutual understanding between the two universities.

Both universities agree to participate jointly in collaborative activities in academic areas of mutual interest, on a basis of equality and reciprocity. The activities include collaborative learning activities where students have the opportunity to learn from their peers and lecturers/researchers from partner universities with or without leaving their country, student and staff exchanges, semester study abroad for students at partner universities, joint conferences, seminars, colloquia, symposia, joint activities for students for e.g. bootcamps for certain purposes, competitions etc., joint research/publication/consultancy, access to specific lab equipment/teaching materials/ expertise and short educational visitation.

Prof Dr Nanda Bahadur Singh, Vice Chancellor of Mid-West University and Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei displayed the signed MoU during the virtual event witnessed by representatives from both institutions.
