About the Speakers:

1. Dr. Lee Wah Pheng has a vast direct engagement experience in the manufacturing activities, education, business setup and operation, applied research, development and commercialization. These experiences include 14 years of manufacturing industry experiences in Sony Electronics and S.E.H (M) involving in the electronics design and testing, silicon substrate product quality, production equipment and machines failure data analytics and solutions, and new patented detection method; 10 years of education experiences in teaching, supervision, R&D&C in Multimedia University and TAR UC engaged in the semiconductor research, IOT product and Industry 4.0 applied research; 12 years of business experiences providing consultancy to the companies and start-ups related to the smart home solutions, security systems, automation, Industry 4.0 platforms and connectivity solutions for digitalization and network infrastructure to build the smart manufacturing ecosystem. Dr. Lee is currently the Director of OMIS Consulting Sdn. Bhd. OMIS Consulting offers Industry 4.0 consultancy to coach SMEs setting the right digital strategy and upskill their talents, especially those in manufacturing industry, to increase their success rate in their digital transformation (DX) implementation.

 

2. Dr. Joseph Kong  has received local and international awards in sustainable design, focusing on energy efficiency,  resources management and ESG compliance. He has also published a number of articles and conference papers, outlining passive and active design strategies for the tropical countries. Joseph is currently the Director of DME Solutions Sdn Bhd. He oversees all the green building and ESG consultancy projects in the Company. Joseph is a frequent trainer and a technical committee member for WWF events. DME Solutions services provide comprehensive solutions to a green building / township in an effort to improve the energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, site planning, water efficiency and optimization of resources.
