Registration for The Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGQP) Studentship
To: All RCA Year 3 Students,


Please note that registration is now open for The Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGQP) Studentship.


MAICSA has granted a special payment plan, only to current RCA students who had a minimum CGPA of 3.00 by the end of second year (Y2S3). Under this plan, students are permitted to pay FOUR (4) instalments over a period of TWO (2) YEARS as follows:

Examination Fees

Per subject fee                    :               RM300.00

Basic Entry Fee                    :               RM220.00 per entry


  • Exam registration can be done directly from the MAICSA website once the CGQP Studentship registration is completed.
  • It is up to you to decide the number of subjects you wish to take.
  • Students are able to register for the examination if they meet the following conditions:
    • At the end of their second year of study, subject to them having completed a minimum of 80 credits hours of study
    • Attained a minimum CGPA of 3.00 by the end of the second year (Y2S3).


Students who do not meet these conditions will not be permitted to participate in the special arrangement.


Important Notes:

  1. This notice is specifically for students who would like to apply for the CGQP Studentship.
  2. Students who intend to pursue the Master of Corporate Governance (MCG) programme under TAR UC are not required to enroll as MAICSA's student now and not required to attempt any external examinations. Graduates of the MCG programme will be granted with full exemption, subject to payment of fees upon enrollment to the MCG programme.
  3. Student must complete Column A, B, C (upper part only), D and E in the Student Registration Form for ICSA Exemption. Please do not make any payment until you’re notified to do so.
  4. Students may download the Student Registration Form from MAICSA website:

  1. Deadline for submission of the Student Registration Form to Ms Wang Sheau Shin ( via email is on 31 March 2023 (Friday). Late submission will not be entertained.
  2. Students will be notified by Ms Wang Sheau Shin if the students are eligible to apply for the CGQP Studentship and students may proceed to make online payment directly to MAICSA thereafter. Students must email the payment slip to MAICSA at
