Similar to the previous ceremony held in the preceding years, the Campbell University Convocation which was held on 2 July 2016 continued to exude blissful mood and joyful ambience. The occasion celebrated the achievement of the graduands from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Computing who had successful completed their programmes and fulfilled the requirements to be awarded the Bachelor degree by Campbell University.
During the ceremony, Dr J Bradley Creed, new President of Campbell University who presided the convocation at TAR UC for the first time, addressed the graduands with a rousing speech about gratitude, faith and following one's dreams. The graduands listened with rapt attention and took in every word that was being said. "You have taken an arduous road, set your mind to a goal, worked hard and you are on your way to an exciting future," said Dr J Bradley Creed. He added, "There is a picture in TAR UC's gallery of Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman planting a tree on this campus when the university began. It is now time for you to plant some trees, to do something productive that will help others even if you don't get credit for it or reap the benefits."
