The flag-off point which was in front of the Sports Complex of TAR UC’s Kuala Lumpur Main Campus, was abuzz with activities since the wee hours of the morning. The route of the run was by no means an easy feat, as there were hilly terrains in the route map where runners found to be challenging. One of the runners who eventually became the Champion of the Open – Women 11km run, Ms Sheela Samivellu, concurred as she said: “The hilly course was tough but nice to run. The race is good for runners. It keeps us fit and healthy. I clocked my personal best in this run and will always support it.” This young lass was also champion in the previous TARCian Run held last year. Another runner, Ng Hun Jie, who is a TAR UC Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business student and also Chairman of the Student Representative Council at TAR UC said: “I find groups of students joining this run out of their own accord, and I think that it is a wonderful opportunity for them to mingle and at the same time indulge in healthy pursuit.”
