The weekend on 27 - 28 February 2016 was significant in the history of TAR University College as it was when the inaugural Bachelor’s Degree Convocation was successfully held. Spread across four sessions, the convocation ceremony which was held in the University College hall witnessed the graduation of more than 1,900 graduands.

Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Chuan, Member of TARC Education Foundation, Secretary-General of Malaysian Chinese Association and Minister of International Trade and Industry II, was present to grace the first session of the convocation which was held in the morning of 27 February 2016.
